Situated on the banks of Sabah’s longest river, the Bilit Rainforest Lodge offers visitors access to the abundance of wildlife that can be found within the Kinabatangan Wildlife Conservation Area. Set close to the village of Bilit, your upriver location ensures lower crowds - and therefore arguably more wildlife - than many of the regions other lodges.
The lodge offers a good level of comfort and the friendly staff are both efficient and extremely knowledgeable of their natural surroundings. Set amongst tropical gardens and linked by a boardwalk, the wooden chalets are well sized and all come with air con. There's a relaxing communal area where you can enjoy Malay and western cuisine, or join other guests at the bar to compare the days wildlife spots.
