Vietnam is one of the leading holiday destinations in South-East Asia and is fast becoming a world force in providing luxury holidays of the highest standard. Every major town has at least one, if not several, deluxe (5*) hotels and, along the country’s 2,000km+ of coastline, the number of 5* resorts is increasing steadily. Thanks to the seemingly endless beaches, only in a few places have the resorts or hotels become congested, unlike neighbouring Thailand, where you can barely find an empty patch of sand for love or money these days.

Whilst we aren’t Nha Trang’s biggest fan, we do love the Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay. Last and certainly not least is the latest addition to Vietnam's super-deluxe offerings; the Six Senses Con Dao. At the time of writing the resort has been open for just one month, although you wouldn't believe it from the attention its been receiving. Located on a typicaly undeveloped stretch of Con Dao's pristine sand, the resort is setting new standards in responsible luxury.
