Starting in Luang Prabang, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the cultural titan before heading upriver to the Shangri Lao Explorer Camp for a luxurious elephant camp experience. Armed with your new mahout skills, travel south to the laid back 4000 Island region before crossing into Cambodia and touching down at the mighty Angkor Temples.
Having explored some of the further lying, less visited temples, and enjoyed a bird's-eye view of Angkor from the seat of a microlight; continue south to the delightful coastal town of Kep, stopping en route to explore one of Indochina's most exciting cities - Phnom Penh.
