- Just because Laos is landlocked doesn’t mean that you can’t spend a few days on the beach. In most instances you will fly to Laos via Bangkok, ensuring easy access to many of Thailand’s world famous beach resorts without the need to pay for extra flights. Alternatively tag a few extra days onto Cambodia and visit the south coast, just three hours drive from Phnom Penh.
