Vietnam Visas
A visa is required for entry to Vietnam
Citizens of the UK, EU Countries, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States require a visa to visit Vietnam.
All other nationalities should check with the Vietnamese Embassy in their country of residence or with their Selective Asia consultant.
Obtaining a visa
The visa must be obtained before departing your country of residence.
The single entry visa is valid for 30 days and the cost will vary depending on where you purchase it.
You will need two passport sized photographs of a good likeness. A full passport is required, valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of your departure from Vietnam.
Visa on arrival
If you are arriving in Vietnam by air (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or Danang) Selective Asia can now arrange a visa on arrival for you. The process is both cheaper and more convenient than obtaining the visa at your local embassy. Please speak to your consultant for further details.

The standard visa costs £38 and takes 5 days to be issued. It is a single entry
visa that allows you to travel in the country for 30 days. The embassy does offer an express service as well as a multiple entry visa, both at additional cost.
The embassy also offers a postal return service - this is usually an additional £8 per person to cover the cost of the recorded delivery.

Whilst your are away
You can obtain your Vietnam visa in Cambodia at a cost of just US$ 35 (2 day service). Alternatively you can obtain your visa in Bangkok for approximately $90 (24-hour service).
